Empowering Parents & Caregivers
We exist to reduce the overwhelm of faith formation for parents of 0-3 year olds. Our resources cut through decision fatigue by providing trusted, age-appropriate activities grounded in child development research.
We help you integrate faith into everyday moments—playtime, nature walks, bedtime routines—without adding to more things to an already hectic schedule.
You don't need to change your life to use our products. We meet you where you are, providing the structure and prompts that make acting on your values feel manageable instead of overwhelming.

Inviting. Beautiful. Easy. Anchored.
We merge peer-reviewed science with timeless Christian practices. We are:
• Inviting. Welcoming all family structures—parents, partners, grandparents, foster families, and guardians.
• Beautiful. Thoughtfully designed by carefully selected illustrators whose work evokes wonder.
• Easy. Simplifying faith integration with intuitive, age-appropriate tools.
• Anchored. Building on our faith tradition and peer-reviewed child development research
Meet Our Team

Dr. Sam Rogers
DIRECTOR
Sam Rogers is a parent and former college lecturer who brings both academic rigor and lived experience to Karis Parenting.
He holds a PhD in Religions & Theology from the University of Manchester and has taught Biblical Studies at the collegiate level. Before joining Karis Parenting, Sam worked in religious education admissions and marketing, where he learned how to translate complex theological concepts into accessible language for everyone.
Sam and his wife Katie are parents to two young daughters, Hildie and Eloise, which means he experiences the chaos, wonder, and exhaustion of parenting preschoolers firsthand. He knows what it's like to want to raise children with strong faith foundations while also just trying to get through Tuesday. That tension between aspiration and reality drives everything Karis Parenting creates.

Rev. Laura Bratton
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Laura Bratton brings a rare combination of theological training, classroom experience, and deep roots in ministry.
She holds a Master of Theological Studies from Candler School of Theology at Emory University and is an ordained minister who has served churches in music ministry for over a decade. Her work as an instructional assistant in public elementary schools gave her ground-level insight into child development and how children actually learn in theory and in practice.
As a mother of three adult sons, Laura has watched the full arc of faith formation play out. She brings that long-view perspective to product development. Her years working with children, combined with her theological depth, ensure that Karis Parenting resources are both developmentally sound and spiritually grounded.
